Since graduating from Middlesex University (BA Jazz) in 2000, Ping Lee has established himself on the London music scene, proving a sought-after guitarist amongst many of the up and coming jazz singers for his sensitive accompaniment and lyrical soloing. These include Marcella Puppini, The Puppini Sisters, Jodie Scantlebury (Roisin Murphy), Georgia Mancio, Verity Quade (Jerry Springer-The Opera) to name a few. Ping is also composing original material for a dance piece as well as a short film and has been working on the 'Music In Prisons' project as a musical facilitator. As well as this Ping is preparing for a forthcoming tour of Japan with his Jazz Trio 'Ran' with whom he performed at the Queen Elizabeth Hall in October 2008.
