Max Hallett

An exceptional drummer and composer, Maxwell has collaborated with musicians including pianist Mark Locket and tabla player Praveen Row. His music explores improvisation, jazz, funk, punk and hip-hop. He has had his work commissioned by Brighton’s contemporary music ensemble Rout, and is part of experimental, epic-songwriting band ‘A Scandal in Bohemia’ whose debut EP ‘China’ is available now. As well as this Maxwell’s band ‘Super Best Friends Club’ have performed at the Southbank Centre to critical acclaim. Experimentation is at the heart of this talented artists’ passion for music and Maxwell Hallett continues to push musical boundaries with his innovative style.
